Introduction to SPSS Syntax

This one-day course is designed for SPSS users who perform similar or identical analyses on a regular basis (eg. monthly reports or updating data files).

Prerequisites

• Experience with running software in a Windows environment.
• Knowledge of the basics of SPSS equivalent to the level of the Introduction to SPSS course

Overview

This course introduces you to the use of SPSS Syntax programming language for running procedures. If you�re sick of repeating the same point and click operations, then this course is for you. You will learn quick ways of generating Syntax code that you can then modify as needed.

• Syntax rules and structure
• How to generate and run syntax
