SPSS for Excel Users

This NEW one-day course is designed for business people currently using Excel to perform data manipulation and analysis.

Prerequisites

  • Experience with Excel and the Microsoft Windows operating system.

Overview

This course teaches you how to use SPSS to easily read and manipulate database data, create business analysis reports from data extracts, perform basic statistical analyses (crosstabulations with chi-square), and automatically repeat your work. • Data selection and Manipulation
  • Frequency and Crosstabulation analysis: help with understanding statistical results
  • Reporting with the Case Summaries, OLAP Cubes procedures and Tables
  • Time saving features: replicated reports with different subgroups (Split Files); output to Word, edit pivot table; aggregate
  • Repeat analyses using syntax

SPSS Products Used
