Legislative Compliance
The SPSS Professional
Services team in Australia has recently delivered solutions in the area of Legislative
Compliance. A recent project related to management of tax
auditor workloads. The solution consisted of the following
components:

Discovery;
-
Installation of
Clementine software;
-
Training for client
staff; and
-
On-site projects,
working together with client staff.
The solution involved
evaluation of past audits in combination with other descriptive
data sources (both internal and external to the client) to
determine characteristics predictive of successful detection
outcomes. Clementine software was used to integrate the various
data sources, assess and enhance the quality of data attributes,
and develop predictive models. The models produce a list of
candidates most likely to result in detection if audited.
Our client is currently
piloting their new candidate selection process in the field,
with initial results suggesting a 200% increase in auditor
productivity.
The client�s management
is evaluating their business for further application of
predictive analytics, while the analyst team have found
Clementine software useful in their day-to-day analytical tasks. |
